Restructuring

In the life cycle of a company, there are constantly changing internal and / or external parameters that influence its business performance and competitive position. If the first signals of possible dangers and threats are ignored or not recognized in time and if no adequate counter-measures are taken to adapt, quite fast a very critical, even existential situation can occur.


Corporate crises show up first as strategy crises with weak signals. If the management failed to pass in adaptive responses in a break-in and then a liquidity crisis until they can be modified to extend to the existence of crisis, with acute risk of insolvency. The relatively wide margin of actions during the initial phase will increasingly narrow over the time, so that in profitability and liquidity crises all reorganization and restructuring measures will be under ever greater pressure of time. In addition, the remaining time until positive effects of the ongoing action can be seen, is always becoming shorter. The highest level of escalation is reached when there is acute danger of insolvency and only radical, immediately effective actions have to remedy the situation very quickly.
